Wreaths laid around a cross during the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps Day Dawn Service in Kuwait City, Kuwait on April 25, 2009. The first Commemorative Dawn Service was held on ANZAC Day in 1923 by Reverend White as the sun was rising, a man in a small dinghy cast a wreath into King George Sound and they silently watched the wreath float out to sea.
