Spc. Paul Killam, of Albion, Maine, applies a tourniquet to a "wounded" Paratrooper during a combat life-saver qualification course, Aug. 21, at Forward Operating Base Hammer, Iraq, located outside eastern Baghdad. Killam is a truck driver assigned to Company A, 82nd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad. This course taught Paratroopers several basic combat life-saving techniques.
