Stacks of fish lay in the hold of the Taiwanese-flagged fishing vessel Yu Feng as a result of illegal fishing activity off the coast of Freetown, Sierra Leone. Crewmembers from U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Legare, along with representatives from Sierra Leone's Armed Forces Maritime Wing, Fisheries Mministry and Office of National Security, found the illegal catch after conducting a joint boarding operation on a Yu Feng. Legare, homeported in Portsmouth, Va., is currently on a three-month deployment as part of the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. 6th Fleet Africa Partnership Station mission.
