NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (June 5, 2015)— As part of a joint test group, Sailors from the future USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) prepare to launch a “dead-load” from the ship’s Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS).
