U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk helicopters wait on pad one at Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 7 to depart to pick up pararescuemen conducting an insertion and extraction exercise aboard U.S. Navy drone launch ship ATLS 9701 in the Pacific Ocean. The pararescuemen are participating in the exercise Angel Thunder 2015, which is a joint service, multinational, interagency combat search and rescue exercise designed to provide training for personnel recovery assets using a variety of scenarios that simulate deployment conditions and contingencies.
