Senior Air Craftsman Jonathan Jennings, Royal Air Force C-130 aircraft maintenance mechanic, inspects the landing gear carriage prior to flight here, Aug. 27. The primary role of the RAF is to provide troops in the area of responsibility with ammunition and supplies, as well as transporting wounded and fallen British service members. Jennings is deployed in support of Operation TELIC, the UK's activity in Iraq, and Operation HERRICK, the UK support to ISAF activity in Afghanistan.
