North Carolina National Guard 505th Engineer Battalion Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Zike, holds the colors (unit flag) during a change of command ceremony at the Camp Butner Armory, June 7, 2015. The ceremony is a time honored tradition that signifies the transfer of responsibility and authority from the outgoing to the incoming commander. Zike passed the colors to his left to Lt. Col. Cristina Moore, the outgoing commander. The colors rotated around the diamond formation back to Zike where he, as the custodian of colors, will safeguard the colors under the new commander.
