The family of Army Sgt. Lawrence V. Blanchet, WWII Veteran, received funeral military honors in Chicago for Blanchet 70 years after he was killed in action on the Italian front. Army Reserve soldiers across numerous Chicago based units came out to support and provide honors during the ceremony to include three volleys of shots fired, taps played and a flag folding presentation.
