379th Air Expeditionary Wing

Left, U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Kevin McManaman, 379th Expeditionary Operations Group C-21 pilot, and Staff Sgt. Michelle Urso, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron C-21 crew chief, conduct a final walkaround prior to a C-21 take-off, Aug. 28, in Southwest Asia. The C-21 mission is to provide quick airlift capabilities for personnel and equipment throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Both service members are deployed from the Connecticut Air National Guard in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
