Each competitor took a written test, stood before a board of food service staff noncommissioned officers and, this quarter, prepared a Japanese-themed meal for three judges. The three competing food service specialists could earn up to a maximum of 300 points. Pvt. Precious Felder received first place with 265 points, Cpl.
