Lt. Col. Scott Murcin, Keller Army Community Hospital’s chief of pediatrics (left), and Interservice Physician Assistant Program graduate 1st Lt. Ross W. Thibodeau pose with the IPAP Preceptor of the Cycle Award plaque during Thibodeau’s June 12, 2015, graduation and promotion ceremony at the West Point Club. Each cycle, the graduating students select a preceptor, whom they recognize for their outstanding support in education and mentorship. The plaque hangs outside of Keller’s Family Practice Clinic with the names of those who have been recognized by previous graduating classes.
Thibodeau, the only graduate of Class 01-13, recognized Lt. Col. Murcin for his exceptional participation in his education, his dedication to mentorship, and his devotion to the solidarity of the physician assistant profession.
