OFF CALABASH CAY, Belize, (June 18, 2015) A boarding team from the Mexican navy ship Independencia engages in a vessel boarding, search and seizure exercise with British vessel HMS Severn during Tradewinds 2015 Phase Two. The combined, joint U.S. Southern Command-sponsored exercise strengthens the capacity of Caribbean nations to respond to natural disasters, humanitarian crises and counter transnational organized crime.
