Marines, as well as Seabees, are offered the program that teaches combat martial arts techniques to service members. The battalion, homeported in Gulfport, Miss., under the operational control of the 30th Naval Construction Regiment is deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
