Pfc. Kyle Brantner, an infantryman assigned to D Company, 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, runs across the finish line during a qualifying Ranger Physical Fitness Test five-mile run, June 22 at Fort Bragg, N.C. Along with 18 other candidates, Brantner completed the RPFT as a selection requirement for F Company (Long range surveillance), Headquarters Battalion, XVIII Airborne Corps. “I want to further myself, further my career,” Brantner said of the LRS selection.
