A bomb disposal robot, controlled by the a member of the New York National Guard's 1108th Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Company working with the Erie Police Department, removes a training IED from a school bus during the Raven's Challenge bomb disposal training event on June 24, 2015, at the New York State Preparedness Training Center in Oriskany, N.Y. The 2015 Raven's Challenge in Oriskany brought together EOD units from the New York Army and Air National Guard, U.S. Army, police forces from across New York, and military and police forces from Canada. Over the course of the week long challenge the forces shared their unique specialties and knowledge, pooling resources to tackle multiple counter-IED exercises in a realistic training environment.
