GETTYSBURG, Pennsylvania (July 3, 2015) A Sailor assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64) points at the signature from Capt. Bob Hein, former commanding officer of ship, in the visitor’s logbook at the Gettysburg Municipal Building in Gettysburg, Pa. Gettysburg Sailors participated in several service projects to honor the ship’s longstanding ties to her namesake town during the 152nd anniversary of the Civil War battle.
