GETTYSBURG, Pennsylvania (July 3, 2015) Sailors assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64) salute reenactors from the Civil War Heritage Foundation on the battlefields of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The reenactors, members of the Civil War Heritage Foundation, are volunteers for the non-profit foundation. Gettysburg Sailors participated in several service projects to honor the ship’s longstanding ties to her namesake town during the 152nd anniversary of the Civil War battle.
