Front, U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Clayton Whitaker and Staff Sgt. Matthew Timm, 37th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit weapons load crew members, secure a GBU-38 onto a B-1B Lancer, Sept. 16, in Southwest Asia. Carrying the largest payload of both guided and unguided weapons in the Air Force inventory, the multi-mission B-1 is the backbone of America's long-range bomber force. It can rapidly deliver massive quantities of precision and non-precision weapons against any adversary, anywhere in the world, at any time. Whitaker and Timm are deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
