Spc. Thomas J. "T.J." Barbieri seen during a quiet moment while deployed to Afghanistan in 2005 with Company D, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. Barbieri was killed by enemy small arms fire during a subsequent deployment to Iraq. His family built a replica WWII motorcycle in his honor.
