    Senior Chief Boatswains Mate Herb Kresge, Engineman 1st Class Stephen Tipoti and Engineman Second Class Jacob Simon man the rails of the U.S. Naval War College (NWC) command cutter as it prepares to moor pier side at Fort Adams State Park. The NWC command cutter was built by the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in February 1957, is 50 feet in length with a beam of 13.5 feet, and is made of oak with double-planked Alaskan cedar sides and teak decks. She weighs 20 tons, has a draft of 4.5 feet and has a top speed of 12.5 knots.
