(July 14, 2015) International students learn welding techniques as part of the Technical Welding and Applied Repairs course at Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS). The course is designed to provide the basic training required to perform structural repairs and preventative maintenance to a variety of steel, aluminum and fiberglass components. NAVSCIATTS is a Department of the Navy schoolhouse that operates under the United States Special Operations Command, which trains and educates Partner Nation Security Forces on a wide range of topics including small craft strategy, operations, communications, weapons, maintenance and instructor development.
