U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (April 14, 2015) – The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58) sails alongside the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) during an underway replenishment. Forrest Sherman is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
