Diehl (T-AO 193) to aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) flight deck during a replenishment-at-sea. Carl Vinson will soon depart the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility for its homeport of San Diego after supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
