150518-N-IJ355-9249 MOBILE, Alabama – The Navy’s newest Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV 6), the future USNS Brunswick, was launched from the Austal USA shipyard May 19. The Brunswick, shown here during her launch sequence, will be the Navy’s sixth Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV). JHSVs are designed to provide fast intra-theater transportation of troops, military vehicles and equipment.
