GETTYSBURG, Pennsylvania (July 3, 2015) Hull Maintenance Technician 1st Class Russell Williams and Electronics Technician 1st Class Christopher Eckert, both assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64), shine a shell chasing from the ship’s 5-inch gun in Gettysburg, Pa. Gettysburg Sailors participated in several service projects to honor the ship’s longstanding ties to its namesake town during the 152nd anniversary of the Civil War battle.
