The boat deck of USS Fort McHenry comes alive with Marines from Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, and Sailors from USS Fort McHenry, during a "steel beach" picnic aboard the amphibious dock landing ship Sept. 19. The 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. Central Command. The Bataan ARG is conducting Maritime Security Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
