Smoke rises from charcoal grills as Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, cook hamburgers and hot dogs during a "steel beach" picnic aboard USS Fort McHenry Sept. 19. The 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. Central Command. The Bataan ARG is conducting Maritime Security Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
