A joint team of forces from the 528th Light Reconnaissance Battalion, Romanian Land Force, and the 1st Squadron, 131st Cavalry Regiment, Alabama Army National Guard, participate in a joint force capability demonstration being presented to a gathering of distinguished visitors during Operation Red Dragon 15 on June 20, 2015, at Babadag Training Area, Romania. Operation Red Dragon is a training exercise conducted between the two units in an effort to build stronger ties between American and Romanian Forces. Operation Red Dragon is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the region. U.S. Army Europe is leading the Operation Atlantic Resolve enhanced land force, multinational training and security cooperation activities taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to ensure multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries.
