SAN DIEGO (July 14, 2015) – Aviation Support Equipment Technician 3rd class Daniel Greer, assigned to Aviation department aboard amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), executes a security simulation during Between the Lifelines (BTL) training. BTL is a two-week security training program that provides the fundamentals of watch standing and non-lethal weapons to Sailors.
