U.S. Air Force Maj. William Toronto, 28th Bomb Squadron deputy staff judge advocate and New Horizons Honduras 2015 staff judge advocate out of Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., and U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Ryan Elliott, 823rd RED HORSE Squadron commander and New Horizons Honduras exercise commander, out of Hurlburt Field, Fla., and a native of Grove City, Penn., transport donated paint to the Dr. Salvador Paredes Hospital in Trujillo, Honduras, July 21, 2015. The paint was delivered as part of humanitarian aid mission during the New Horizons Honduras 2015 training exercise. New Horizons was launched in the 1980s and is an annual joint humanitarian assistance exercise that U.S. Southern Command conducts with a partner nation in Central America, South America or the Caribbean. The exercise improves joint training readiness of U.S. and partner nation civil engineers, medical professionals and support personnel through humanitarian assistance activities.
