The Egyptian flag is visible on the uniform of an Egyptian paratrooper conducting sustained airborne training at Pope Air Force Base prior to a "friendship jump" airborne operation featuring airborne forces from five countries, including the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division. The jump was part of the Bright Star Exercise, a joint, multi-national training exercise being held at Fort Bragg, N.C. from Sept. 28-Oct. 12.
