Airman 1st Class Zachary Mikolajczyk, 22nd Training Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape specialist, places a strip of wood into a fire July 13, 2015, in the Colville National Forest, Wash. S-V-80-A combat survival students learned the uses of fire in a survival situation as well as how to make a fire during inclement weather. While in the field students learned a variety of survival skills, including fire craft, water procurement and land navigation.
