Retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Mitch Bell officially returns the Purple Heart Medal of Pfc. James T. Hull to retired Command Sgt. Maj. Cecil Hull, his last remaining family member. Pfc. Hull was killed in action during the 36th Infantry Division’s Salerno Beach Landing during World War II. After receiving his brother’s medal, he then donated it to the 36th Infantry Division where it will be displayed on the wall of its headquarters building in Austin.
