Senior Airman Sorie Bangura, 332nd Expeditionary Operation Support Squadron, controls the air space over Iraq May 15, 2006. The transportable radio approach control (TRAPCON) at Balad Air Base controls over 200,000 square miles of air space over Iraq. The airfield is the busiest single runway airfield in the Department of Defense, and second busiest single runway airfield in the world.
