U.S. Marines escort a simulated casualty onto a UH-1Y Venom during a casualty evacuation drill as a part of Air Assault Support Exercise 2015-2 at Basa Air Base in Pampanga, Philippines, July 21, 2015. The Marines are part of a patrol that executed a practice raid and casualty evacuation drill throughout the jungle. The drill prepared Marines to deal with the rigors of patrolling through thick vegetation and helicopter extraction. The aircraft is assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
