U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y Venom assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 performs a casualty evacuation drill as a part of Air Assault Support Exercise 2015-2 at Basa Air Base in Pampanga, Philippines, July 21, 2015. The Marines provided a 360-degree security screen while the Venom took off and landed. The drill prepared the Marines for dealing with the rigors of patrolling through thick vegetation and helicopter extraction. HMLA-469 is attached to Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
