Soldiers from the Czech Army’s 73rd Tank Battalion, 7th Mechanized Brigade loosen the straps on a T-72M4CZ tank at the train station in Parsburg, Germany, Aug. 3. The 7th Brigade will command the brigade headquarters during Exercise Allied Spirit II, which includes more than 4,500 participants from eight nations, at the United States Army’s Hohenfels Training Area in southeastern Germany, Aug. 4-24. The exercise will consist of a Combat Training Center rotation, as well as a nighttime joint and partnered parachute drop in the Hohenfels Training Area and is the first time the 7th Czech Brigade will command the brigade headquarters in a NATO combined exercise.
