Retired Lt. Gen. William H. Harrison, who commanded the 7th Infantry Division 1985-1987 at Fort Ord, Calif., took a tour of Harrison Hall at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Aug. 4. The visit was also an opportunity to induct the former 7th Infantry Division commander into the Order of the Bayonet, a division tradition, authorized to members of the 7th Infantry Division for personal performance of duties deemed by a commander to be "above and beyond the call."
