GULF OF ADEN (August 3, 2015) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 65 approaches the well deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Anchorage, part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
