INDIAN OCEAN -- Amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) embarked with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) concluded a cooperative deployment with Indian Navy destroyer INS Rajput (D51), Dec. 26 following a port visit to Visakhapatnam, India Dec. 22 to Dec. 26.
INDIAN OCEAN -- Amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) arrived in Visakhapatnam, India, for a port visit Dec. 22.
During the visit, Sailors and Marines will hold professional exchanges with their Indian Navy counterparts and have opportunities to explore the local area while on liberty over the holiday season.
