Sgt. John D. Pumphrey (left), a truck commander from Columbus, Miss., uses his time off to help Sgt. David A. McDonald, a mechanic from Coldwater, Miss., replace the rear brakes on his High Mobility, Multipurpose Vehicle, Sept. 30. Both are members of A Company, 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms out of Hernando, Miss. The participation of crews during maintenance helps the 2/198th CAB to keep 98 percent or more of combat vehicles fully-mission-capable.
