Almirola the No. 43 Ford was also partially sponsored by the U.S. Air Force which is featured on the car and Almirola’s drivers suit 2 races out of the season. The U.S. Air Force is currently the only branch sponsoring a car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Gorenc was at Watkins Glen as an honored guest of NASCAR for the Cheez-It 355 at The Glen where he would be swearing in new Air Force Recruits before the start of the race.
