Navy Lt. Glen D. Kitzman (center right), chaplain, Military Sealift Command Far East, and civilain mariners from USNS Walter S. Diehl (T-AO 193) present valuable Project Hand Clasp materials to a local Thai community July 10. They delivered one pallet of hygiene and medical materials to the Ban Pluakdang School and Hospital. During the community relations event, the civil service mariner volunteers interacted with more than 400 children and school faculty members. The USNS Walter S. Diehl is on voyage repair status in Thailand. Volunteers conducted multiple community relations events to benefit local agencies in the Pattaya, Sriracha and Chantabury region.
