150818-N-CG436-209 CHARLESTOWN, Mass (Aug. 18, 2015) A Seabee diver with Construction Dive Detachment Alfa (CDD/A) of Underwater Construction Team (UCT) ONE uses a go/no-go gauge to measure ring diameters during a port security barrier (PSB) mooring system inspection at the Charlestown Navy Yard. This particular PSB acts as a buffer between the USS Constitution and the rest of the harbor. The purpose of the inspection is to verify the structural integrity of the mooring chains. UCT ONE deploys around the world to conduct underwater construction, inspection, repair and demolition operations in support of both peacetime and wartime missions.
