150818-N-CG436-027 CHARLESTOWN, Mass (Aug. 18, 2015) Seabee divers with Construction Dive Detachment Alfa (CDD/A) of Underwater Construction Team (UCT) ONE conduct a pre-dive brief at the Charlestown Navy Yard. The pre-dive brief outlines the plan and points of safety for the underwater inspection of a mooring system for a port security barrier that acts as a buffer between the USS Constitution and the rest of the harbor. The purpose of the inspection is to verify the structural integrity of the mooring chains. UCT ONE deploys around the world to conduct underwater construction, inspection, repair and demolition operations in support of both peacetime and wartime missions.
