Maj. Gen. Darrell K. Williams, CASCOM and Fort Lee commanding general, gives opening remarks at the inaugural CASCOM-Fort Lee SHARP Summit Aug. 21 in the multipurpose room of the Army Logistics University. "The worst phone call a parent can get from a son, daughter or another close family member on our Army Team -- or even closer to home, our CASCOM team -- is the one where they learn a loved on has been sexually assualted or sexually harassed," Williams said. "That's every parent's worst nightmare. So, I have to tell you this thing is personal to me as a father and husband. Until we all start viewing it that way and talk about it openly with some level of passion and commitment, we'll continue to have these issues." More than 100 senior installation leaders and guests from TRADOC, the Pentagon and other major DOD activities attended the summit.
