With preflight checks complete, Staff Sgt. Jason Piper, an aircrewman with D. Company, 7-158th Aviation Regiment, Olathe, Kan., waits for his CH-47 Chinook to be cleared to taxi. The Army Reserve's 7-158th Aviation Regiment, of Olathe, Kan., is the only aviation unit supporting U.S. Army Africa's Natural Fire 10, a partnership exercise with Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania and Rwanda. Natural Fire is an opportunity for these East African nations and the U.S. military to train side by side and work together on a humanitarian assistance mission.
