150827-N-ZZ999-417 LIEPAJA, Latvia (Aug. 27, 2015) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class Matthew Vosler and 3rd Class Tanner Johnson, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 8, return to the surface after rigging a World War II-era German 240mm shell to be pulled from a wreck outside of the harbor in Liepaja, Latvia, Aug. 27, as part of Baltic Partnership 2015. Baltic Partnership 2015 is a mine countermeasures (MCM) engagement between Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and United States MCM divers to clear World War II-era ordnance from the Baltic Sea.
