Lt. Col. Chris McKenna, commander, 450th Tactical Helicopter Squadron, 1st Wing Kingston, stands on Simmons Airfield, N.C., Sept. 9 after concluding his pre-deployment site survey (PDSS). The PDSS allow McKenna to have a better understanding of the aviation specific operations and support requirements in order to conduct a joint training exercise with the 82nd CAB later this year along with elements of 3rd Royal Canadian Regiment (3RCR) and 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.
