Service members bow their heads in a moment of remembrance and prayer at a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the grand opening of the dining facility at Forward Operating Base Sharana, Afghanistan, Oct. 22. The Ross L. Toles, III, Dining Facility is named in honor of U.S. Navy Petty Officer Ross L. Toles, III, who was killed in a rocket attack in Paktika province, Afghanistan, June 18, 2008. After a combined 18 years of active and reserve service, Petty Officer Toles left behind a wife and three sons.
